Father John Misty - Mahashmashana (Black) Vinyl 2LP

Josh Tillman - aka Father John Misty (FJM) - has announced his sixth album, Mahashmashana, produced by Tillman and Drew Erickson, along with executive producer Jonathan Wilson. The album features eight songs totalling 50 minutes, including critically acclaimed singles ‘I Guess Time Makes Fools of Us All’, ‘She Cleans Up’ and the epic 7-minute long ‘Screamland’, a ballad of sorts with a chorus that it is as exquisitely beautiful as it is a wall of sound noise inferno, featuring Alan Sparhawk (Low) on guitar and a magnificent string arrangement by Drew Erickson.
