Accurately capture stringed instruments, percussion, drums, overheads, horns, and more with the SP-1 Standard Pencil Microphones from Universal Audio. Designed to be your go-to mics for a wide variety of studio and live sound applications, each mic in this matched pair of small-diaphragm condensers features a cardioid polar pattern for focused audio capture and can handle SPLs up to 142 dB.
Mic mounts with thread adapters are included along with a stereo T-bar that spaces the mics properly, making it easy for even inexperienced users to get rich stereo recordings. And like all Standard-series UA mics, the SP-1 includes the free Hemisphere Mic Modeling software, which allows you to model your mic response on several high-quality emulations of classic mics and control proximity, axial shift, phase, virtual filters, and more.
