The Austrian Audio Hi-X55 are over-ear, closed-back headphones designed to meet the demands of high-resolution audio production, whether in professional studios or acoustically untreated spaces.
The proprietary 44mm drivers utilize copper-clad aluminum voice coils and a special ring magnet structure to deliver a wide frequency response of 5 Hz to 28 kHz. The over-ear design provides isolation from ambient sound, while the memory foam earpads ensure comfortable wearing for long sessions. The Hi-X55 headphones can be folded to allow compact storage and convenient transport. The detachable single-sided cable is terminated with a 3.5mm TRS mini plug for compatibility with mobile devices, and a 1/4" adapter is included for use with professional mixers, headphone amps, and audio interfaces.
